The location above Lac de Ste Croix indeed offered a breathtaking view, a standout feature of this hotel. the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. However, several aspects left me questioning the overall value. the absence of air conditioning in the scorching heat, slow and unreliable internet at night, and a broken shower in the room raised concerns. the limited staff availability past 8 pm and during check-out was inconvenient. the lack of luxury amenities like a mini-bar or coffee facilities also impacted the overall experience. Despite the reasonable price, the compromised comfort and services made me reflect on the true value offered by Gabrielle. the beautiful setting and clean rooms could have been complemented better with improved facilities and services, striking a better balance between cost and luxury. While the charming village and convenient parking were notable highlights, I would encourage management to enhance their offerings to truly justify the price paid.
